Guiding Lights Lodge Offers BIODEGRADABLE TRASH BAGS for sale to raise money for charity and help reduce pollution on our planet. The average trash bag takes ~ 1,000 years to break down in a landfill! Our biodegradeable bags have an additive that allows the plastic to break down in about 5 years. March Message from the East

posted Mar 10, 2011 12:06 PM by Nathan Alden

Brethren,

I would like to thank those that assisted with the meal in February. All the help in preparation and cleanup was greatly appreciated.

Great job to our J.W. for putting on another fine program of preparedness! Please keep up the great work!

A special thank you to R.W. Lou Papagni who sat in as J.D. for the evening. Both Lou and a couple of visiting Brethren from Boylston Lodge were awarded GLL traveling Gavel. Five members of Boylston Lodge were present, so I will be planning a raid on Boylston Lodge with six or more members to retrieve it.

Brethren, you should be especially proud of your line officers. Many of the visitors approached me after the meeting to say, “Glad to see ritual is not dead”. We began this year with a promise that GLL would be open in Due Form at every communication. In doing so, your ritual has improved tenfold and I’m very proud of all of you.

Rehearsals will continue to be every Wednesday evening at 7pm. We will be going over the FC degree until this meeting and then begin work on the MM degree after the 9th. If you cannot make a rehearsal as a line officer, please call me (508-735-0807) or email (wayne.anderson@charter.net) by 5:00 PM the night of the rehearsal so we are not holding up the rehearsal to wait for a missing Bro.

This upcoming communication is a Fraternal visit of the DDGM and his suite. All members should make every effort to come out and support our District Deputy. We chose to also hold the FC degree as it is the shortest of the three degrees and on a single candidate, so will go quickly.

Sincerely and fraternally,

R.W. Wayne E. Anderson
