Guiding Lights Lodge Offers BIODEGRADABLE TRASH BAGS for sale to raise money for charity and help reduce pollution on our planet. The average trash bag takes ~ 1,000 years to break down in a landfill! Our biodegradeable bags have an additive that allows the plastic to break down in about 5 years. To encourage environmental responsibility, these bags are offered below the average market cost.

February Message from the East

posted Feb 8, 2011 9:46 AM by Nathan Alden   [ updated Feb 8, 2011 9:49 AM ]

Brethren,

I’ve gone through the communication from cover to cover trying to update and clean it up. If you find errors or omissions, PLEASE send me an email with changes (wayne.anderson@charter.net). If you are not receiving regular email from me and wish to be ‘in the loop’, please send an email to me at the above address requesting same.

Thank you to the Rainbow and DeMolay that came out to help serve, run the cheese and cracker station, park, and attend the coat room at the G.M.’s reception. He was well pleased with the behavior and service provided by all! Well done! Additionally, a congratulations to the officers of GLL for their performance in opening the lodge in due form in front of many additional brethren in attendance.

My last note for this communication is regarding rehearsals. GLL is in the midst of multiple degrees. To ensure that the candidates receive the best possible work, we will be holding practices every Wed. Please make every effort to come out. We are currently practicing for the second degree (the shortest of the three) to be held at our regular communication in March. If you cannot attend, please give me a call at 508-735-0807. Practice nights will encompass floor work, ritual, and I will stay each night until a Bro. is satisfied with his knowledge of the degree. Please feel free to bring up other questions you may have at that time related to any of the three degrees.

Be safe, and I look forward to seeing you at the next meeting.

Sincerely and fraternally,

R.W. Wayne E. Anderson
